Pet Portraits Image Guidelines
An ordinary phone photo is all you need. Here is what applies to both portraits and what is unique to Premium.
For both portraitsStart with a good photo
- Use a clear, ordinary phone photo. No professional camera needed.
- Choose even daylight without dark shadows across your dog.
- Avoid filters so we can see your dog’s natural colours.
- Photograph your dog the way you want them to appear in the portrait.
Standard
- The whole face and neck should be clearly visible.
- A close-up works well; the whole body does not need to be in the photo.
Collars, bows, hats and outfits are not painted in.
Premium
- Include your whole dog, from ears to paws and tail.
- Keep your dog in the middle with a little space all around.
- We fit the photo to the portrait’s shape. Leaving space around your dog keeps your whole dog in view.
Collars, bows, hats and outfits are painted in.
